Advantages

Tagatose was originally developed by a pharmaceutical multinational for post-operative treatment of bowel cancer. Its nice sweet taste and numerous other advantages were discovered later on:

• With a glycaemic index of 2, Tagatose is suitable for type I & II diabetics.
  
  
• Purely natural. Extracted from lactose, which we find in dairy products (NB the final product contains no remaining trace of lactose and is therefore 100% lactose free).
• Tagatose stimulates smooth and optimum bowel function and digestion.
